Weather Update: High pressure ridge to bring windy conditions to some parishes
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Meteorological (Met) Service of Jamaica says a high pressure ridge across the island is expected to bring windy conditions to southern and north-eastern parishes.
At the same time, a trough remains to the west of the island, Met Service said.
According to this morning’s forecast, Isolated showers are expected across eastern parishes this morning.
Meanwhile, this afternoon sections of central and western parishes are expected to experience widely scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
Met Service also said there should be isolated showers over hilly areas of eastern parishes tonight.
