Weather Update: Expect rain today
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Periods of isolated showers are expected across sections of northeastern parishes this morning while everywhere else will be partly cloudy, according to the Meteorological Service of Jamaica.
Come this afternoon, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms which may be heavy at times, should be expected across sections of most parishes.
The Met Service said that the conditions are due to a high pressure ridge across the island throughout the weekend.
