MoBay club manager fined for operating after allowed time
ST JAMES, Jamaica — A 42-year-old a club manager, who was arrested and charged for breaching sections of the Town and Communities Act in Montego Bay, St James last month, was fined $50,000 when he appeared in the St James Parish Court last week.
Reports from the Montego Bay police are that about 3:40 am on Saturday, April 28, the manager, Calico Morgan was taken into custody after a team of officers responded to reports of loud music being played in the town centre beyond the specified time under the Act. Morgan was later charged for failing to close the club within the specified time.
He pleaded guilty when he appeared in court on Wednesday, May 16.
