Businesses to explore investment prospects at Jamaica Investment Forum
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Business opportunities will be the main topic when more than 60 Jamaican and international speakers explore investment prospects at the country’s premier business event, the Jamaica Investment Forum (JIF), on June 12-14 in Montego Bay.
Prime Minister Andrew Holness will give the keynote address. Other speakers will include international investors- Wes Edens, Co-Founder of Fortress Investment Group, Bob Dechant, CEO of Ibex and Andrew Chapman, Founder of Chapman Ventures.
Jamaican investors Michael Lee-Chin, Yoni Epstein and Omar Azan, and other private sector representatives, such as President and CEO of the Jamaica Public Service, Emanuel Darosa, Kingston Wharves CEO Grantley St John Stephenson, Managing Director of FLOW Jamaica, Stephen Price and Managing Director of J Wray & Nephew Limited, Jean Phillipe will also be leading discussions at the conference.
Jamaican Government ministers such as Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, Audley Shaw and Minister without Portfolio in the Ministry of Economic Growth and Job Creation, Daryl Vaz will also be speaking at the event to shed light on the country’s economic progress and opportunities for business in Jamaica.
