Curfew imposed in Gregory Park, St Catherine
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — The police have imposed a curfew in sections of Gregory Park, St Catherine as of 6:00 pm today.
The lawmen said the curfew will remain in effect until 6:00 pm on Thursday.
The boundaries are as follows:
NORTH – Along Dyke Road from the round-a-bout to the intersection of Portmore Villa Boulevard and Dyke Road;
SOUTH – Along the train line from Dyke Road to Municipal Boulevard;
EAST – Along Dyke Road from the intersection of Portmore Villa Boulevard to the train line in the vicinity of National Water Commission Sewage Plant;
WEST- Along the Portmore Municipal Boulevard from the train line to the round-a-bout.
Lawmen said during the hours of the curfew, all persons within the boundaries are required to remain within their premises unless otherwise authorised in writing by the ground commander.
