Gas prices down $0.62, diesel up $0.65
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline and diesel, effective Thursday, June 7, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $132.33 and $135.17 per litre, respectively, down by $0.62 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $130.31 per litre following a decrease of $0.65 while ultra-low sulphur diesel is down by $0.60, and will be sold for $135.11 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene decreased in price by $0.64 and will be sold for $112.75 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $48.49 per litre, down by $0.81 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $51.86 per litre after a decrease of $0.66.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
