UTech to host medical cannabis symposium tomorrow

KINGSTON, Jamaica —  The University of Technology (UTech) will be hosting its third staging of the Jamaican Medical Cannabis Integration Symposium (JAMECANN 2018) tomorrow under the theme “Merging Science, Spirit & Business”.

The Ministry of Agriculture, in an advisory today, stated that the symposium was being put on by the university’s College of Health Sciences faculty.

The event is scheduled to begin at 9:15 am.

The two-day symposium is said to be geared towards showcasing the advances that have been made in the Jamaican and international medical cannabis sector; and to provide opportunities for building research networks.
