PetroJam general manager quits
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Prime Andrew Holness has announced that Floyd Grindley, the general manger of scandal-hit oil refinery PetroJam, has agreed to step down.
Holness made the disclosure in a statement to the House of Representatives a short while ago.
His announcement comes on the heels of a protest by workers at the State-owned refinery last week calling for Grindley and the HR manager to step down amid allegations of corruption and victimisation at the entity, as well as questions surrounding the use of public funds among other issues.
