Lie from the pit of hell!
Dear Editor,
Many people are saying that the FIFA World Cup is “the greatest show on Earth”, but that is a downright lie from the pit of hell.
Do they have facts to prove it?
Let us accept the fact that the Olympics Games is the greatest show on Earth. It is the number one sports tournament/games in the world.
The World Championships takes second places and FIFA World Cup is in third position.
The Olympics is a package or a combination of many different types of sporting disciplines that includes representatives from many different countries. If you don’t like a type of game in the Olympics, you have a choice, or an opportunity to see the one that you like. Unlike in the Word Cup, where it’s just one type of game, despite the many countries involved.
For the World Championships and the Olympic Games, too, the crowds are always bigger as these games attract more attention and interest than World Cup football.
What’s more, the Olympics creates a higher level of happiness and entertainment to the watchers. The euphoria is similar to that felt when the late Nelson Mandela was freed from prison. Football cannot do that.
