Man admits sexually abusing 12-y-o aboard cruise ship in Bahamas

CHARLESTON, West Virginia (AP) — A West Virginia man has admitted to sexually abusing a 12-year-old girl aboard a cruise ship in the Bahamas.

Twenty-one-year-old Joshua I Morrison of Kenova pleaded guilty Monday to sexual abuse of a minor.

Prosecutors say the abuse occurred in January 2016 in a cruise ship bathroom.

Morrison faces up to 15 years in prison. Sentencing has been set for October 11 in federal court in Charleston.
