Man chopped to death in St Thomas dispute
ST THOMAS, Jamaica — A man was chopped to death during a dispute with another man in his community of Duckenfield, St Thomas on Sunday.
The deceased has since been identified by the police’s Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) as 26-year-old Cleon Mullings, otherwise called ‘Short Ras’.
Reports are that Mullings and another man had a dispute about 10:00pm when the man used a machete to chop him several times.
He was subsequently taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
