UPDATE: Former Trelawny hotel general manager charged
KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Greek hotel manager Dimitri Cosvogiannis, who was yesterday arrested for alleged fraudulent activities, has been charged.
Cosvogiannis is a former general manager of an all-inclusive hotel in Trelawny.
Cosvogiannis has been charged with obtaining credit by false pretence, and breaches of the Revenue Administration Act.
He is accused of acquiring several credit facilities from two major banking institutions using different Taxpayer Registration Numbers and names.
These activities go as far back as 2010.
Police say a court date for Cosvogiannis will be announced later.
