Lee’s Tropical Vibes

Sip, shop, watch

On Saturday, July 14, Lee’s Fifth Avenue treated patrons to a Sip, Shop, and Watch experience at its Tropical Plaza location.

“It’s a treat for our customers who last year requested a fashion show to accompany our summer collection launch,” shared Marketing Manager Janique Jude. They were not disappointed!

Fashion enthusiasts, frequent shoppers, and lifestyle and fashion bloggers were among those eagerly waiting to get a first look at Lee’s summer collection — Tropical Vibes. Patrons enjoyed tropical mocktails and non-alcoholic wines courtesy of Absolute Bar Services while being introduced to a range of summer styles.

Showcasing pieces inspired by the ‘Crayola brights’ trend, models took to the faux runway in artfully styled ensembles of tropical prints, horizontal stripes, and striking pops of orange, coral, purple and green, to the musical selections of Shantastic Sounds disc jock DJ Shan.

Designed to keep the customer looking fab but feeling cool, the Lee’s Tropical Vibes collection featured pieces fashioned from linen, chiffon and cotton and included cropped tops with smock details and a crochet top, linen pants and dresses, wrap dresses in vertical stripes, jumpsuits in both tropical prints and horizontal stripes, chiffon maxi dresses, monokinis, bandeau bikinis, and cover-ups. The men were not left out as business development manager-cum-model Shaun Reynolds showcased a few casual looks from the department store’s menswear section.
