Weather forecast: Partly cloudy morning.. afternoon rain in western parishes

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Partly cloudy conditions are expected this morning into the afternoon when isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected across sections of western parishes.

Tonight should be mainly fair.

The Meteorological (Met) Service of Jamaica says a tropical wave across Jamaica will drift westward and be west of the island by this evening.

Thereafter, a trough is expected to become the significant feature and influence the weather conditions.
