Two Food Awards Winners presented with Frigidaire Appliances
During the 20th anniversary of the Jamaica Observer Table Talk Food Awards , it was announced that the winners of two categories would walk away with special prizes courtesy of Frigidaire. On Thursday, July 12, a special presentation of Frigidaire appliances was made to Stush in the Bush and M10 at the offices of Black Ink Marketing & Event Solutions Ltd.
Co-principals of Stush in the Bush, Lisa and Chris Binns, were the winners of the Best Place For Vegetarian Food category. They received a refrigerator, gas range and over-the-range microwave from the Frigidaire Gallery Smudge-Proof Black Stainless Steel collection. Speaking with Thursday Food, Lisa Binns commented, “This is really a blessing. The fridge is double the size of our existing one!” Lisa and Chris Binns are “super-excited” with the appliances, which will increase storage and food preparation spaces at Stush in the Bush.
Marvin and Claudette Tenn, co-principals of M10, winner of the Best Restaurant for Jamaican Food category, received a Frigidaire Gallery 30-inch Smudge-Proof Black Stainless Steel Double Electric Wall Oven. Claudette Tenn adores her new wall oven and can’t wait to have it installed. The well-designed piece will take pride of place in the M10 kitchen and, according to Tenn, will look “quite nice”.
Frigidaire has been a great supporter of the Jamaica Observer Table Talk Food Awards. Representing the company at the handing over ceremony were Staci-Lee Grant and Horace Roach — Frigidaire trade merchandising officers.
