Young Jamaicans doing well on JISCO Alpart course
ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica — Fifty two Jamaican university graduates in engineering who were sent to China in March by JISCO Alpart for a one-year course have successfully completed a three-month language study segment.
The Jamaicans along with counterparts from China and other countries, begun power plant studies at the North China Electric Power University last month.
On completion of the training, the Jamaicans will be employed as engineers at the JISCO Alpart refinery in Nain, St Elizabeth.
