Scheduled power outage to affect water supply in St Catherine, Corporate Area
KINGSTON, Jamaica —The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising that operations at some water facilities in St Catherine will be interrupted today between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, due to scheduled power outages by the Jamaica Public Service Company (JPS).
The NWC, in an advisory today said facilities to be impacted are Tulloch Springs, Bybrook’s pumping stations two and four and Sligoville’s stations one to four.
“Customers in sections of St Catherine and the Corporate Area will either experience low water pressure or have no water during the period,” said NWC.

TULLOCH/BYBROOK System:
Kent Village, Spanish Town Road, Molynes Road, Washington Boulevard, sections of Downtown Kingston, Hamilton Gardens, Christian Gardens & Pen, Newland Road, Cumberland, Cedar Grove, Edgewater, Waterford, Gregory Park, Braeton, Independence City, Hellshire, Eltham Park, Keystone, sections of Portmore and Simons.
SLIGOVILLE Systems:
Keith Hall, Binns Close, Bottom Jackson, Bottom Kensington, Top Jackson, James Mountain, Cedar Valley, Stanberry Grove, Top Kensington, Kensington Storage, Breadfruit Gully, Pleasant Hill, James Mountain, Cedar Valley, Stanberry Grove, Top Kensington and surrounding areas.
The NWC said it apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused and is urging customers to store water for use during the time specified.
