Alborosie returns to Billboard top 10
Unbreakable: Alborosie Meets The Wailers United by Italian reggae singer Alborosie returns to the Billboard Reggae Album Chart’s Top 10 this week, moving from number 12 to nine.
The album was released on June 29 by VP Music Group and went as high as number six. The 14-track set is the follow-up to Alborosie’s 2017 release, Freedom in Dub.
This is Alborosie’s seventh title on the Billboard Reggae Album tally. Among its tracks are The Unforgiven, a remake of the Metallica classic featuring Raging Fyah; Unbreakable with J Boog; Mystical Reggae, a collaboration with Jah Cure; Too Rock featuring Beres Hammond, and Contradiction which he does with Chronixx.
Elsewhere, Sting and Shaggy’s 44/876 returns to number one, having occupied that position — several times since April.
Everyday Life, Everyday People by California band Slightly Stoopid has moved from number four to two. Rebelution’s Free Rein also takes two steps up to number three.
Last week’s number one, I Don’t Want: The Gold Fire Sessions by Santigold falls to number four. Iration’s self-titled set is number five, while Popcaan’s Forever retains number six.
VP Records’ Reggae Gold compilation falls from three to number seven, while Damian Marley’s Stony Hill is back in the Top 10, rising from 14 to eight.
With over 7,000 copies sold, Ziggy Marley’s Rebellion Rises slips one notch to number 10.
