Chef stabbed to death in Manchester
MANCHESTER, Jamaica — The Manchester police are currently investigating the stabbing death of a man in the parish Monday night.
He is identified as 38-year-old Densuma Henry, also known by the alias ‘Crusher,’ from the community of Wagon Wheel in Hatfield.
Police reports are that he was at home in his bedroom about 8:10 pm with his girlfriend having dinner, when two men entered through a back door that was open.
One of the men, who reportedly had a firearm, grabbed Henry by his hand while making a demand for money, which was not met.
The girlfriend allegedly ran from the room during the commotion and when it had settled found Henry with stab wounds to his left breast and right shoulder.
A relative told OBSERVER ONLINE that the men had on masks and Henry was heard “bawling”.
She said that the family was trying to cope with the tragedy.
“He was friendly. Him get along with almost everybody,” OBSERVER ONLINE was told.
The deceased is said to have been a chef and a scrap metal dealer.
While the investigations are continuing, one of the plans of the police is to carry out violence prevention activities in the area.
