PHOTOS: Quake rattles Trinidad, south C’bean
KINGSTON, Jamaica – A 7.0 magnitude earthquake occurred off the Venezuelan coast this afternoon, rattling neighbouring Guyana, as well as Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada and St Vincent.
OBSERVER ONLINE has received several photos from Trinidad and Tobago showing extensive damage to infrastructure during the 7.0 earthquake .
The quake, which occurred around 5:31 pm (local time) was centred near the Venezuelan town of Guiria, and was felt as far away as the capital, Caracas, and far beyond.
