Gas prices down $0.11, diesel down $0.04
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline and diesel, effective Thursday August 23, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from PetroJam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $136.75 and $139.59 per litre, respectively, down by $0.11 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $136.99 per litre following a decrease of $0.04 while ultra-low sulphur diesel is down by $0.28, and will be sold for $141.55 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene increased in price by $0.23 and will be sold for $119.11 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $54.84 per litre, down by $0.12 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $60.70 per litre after an increase of $0.11.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
