UPDATE: Woman killed on Red Hills Road identified
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The woman who was shot dead on 100 Lane off Red Hills Road last evening has been identified by the police.

She is 37-year-old Hasia Fowles, a nail technician from the 100 Lane community.
According to a report from the police’s Corporate Communications Unit (CCU), Fowles was sitting by the roadway with friends when a silver motor car drove up and the occupants opened fire hitting her several times.
CCU said she was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
