Weather Forecast: Morning rain in eastern parishes, sunny elsewhere
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Meteorological (MET) Service of Jamaica says a surface trough is expected to remain across the island for a few days ahead of another tropical wave.
At the same time, strong winds are expected to continue across southern parishes due to the presence of a low level jet stream south of Jamaica, the Met Service says.
This morning, expect showers across sections of eastern parishes, while it will be mainly sunny elsewhere.
This afternoon, isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected mainly across sections of central and western parishes, and windy conditions across southern coastal areas.
Tonight will become fair.
The maximum temperature expected for Kingston and Montego Bay today is 33 degrees Celsius.
