Weather forecast: Tropical wave to bring more rain today
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Meteorological (Met) Service of Jamaica says a
nother tropical wave is expected to drift across the island by late morning, triggering some shower activity particularly across western parishes during the afternoon.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, a high pressure ridge is expected to build across the central Caribbean before making way to another trough system by the weekend.
This morning, expect isolated thunderstorm activity across northeastern sections of the island while elsewhere will be mainly sunny.
This afternoon, widely scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected across sections of western and central parishes and isolated activity is expected across eastern parishes.
Tonight should be fair.
