Frasswel looks to Grateful to really launch career
MONTEGO BAY, St James —St James native Noel Swaby is on the cusp of pushing his career to the next level and possibly beyond.
In recent years, the parish has produced some talented artistes, including the likes of the Merital Family, Tee Jay, Tommy Lee, Rhyme Minister and Rygin King, who is currently dominating the local reggae scene.
Using the name ‘Frasswel’, Swaby is a member of the Temple Swing Family, based in Campbell’s Lane, Mount Salem.
The artiste, who has been described as a conscious entertainer, is now creating waves across western Jamaica with his song entitled Grateful.
A past student of the Maldon High school in St James, the 32-year-old Frasswel started in the music business while attending school. But it was not until a few years ago that he released his first recording, called ‘Hunt the Bread’.
His other recordings included Ghetto Road, Cow Tail, Blessing, and Wonderful Works, with Grateful being the latest and most popular.
“By the way things are shaping up this single ( Grateful) seems to be the one that I am relying on to give me the big break in the music business,” Frasswel told the Jamaica Observer West.
“I feel proud the way how my career has now taken a turn for the better, and I really want to thank the Temple Record family, such as Tallist, Segree, Genista, Moy Sosa, and all the people who are helping me out in my career. I will not let them down,” a confident Frasswel added.
