Italy lock with Poland

…resurgent England take on Spain as major Euro league take a break

Today, Friday September 7 and Saturday, September 8, the International UEFA Nations League takes centre stage as Europe’s top leagues go on a two-week break.

We at JustBet have got you covered as we preview two tantalising matchups for you. Firstly, we take you to Italy where the Azzurri (Italy) host Poland, then we move over to Wembley Stadium in London to witness a classic as England and Spain lock horns.

Italy, who failed to gain World Cup qualification for the first time in 60 years, host Poland for their first UEFA Nations League clash on Friday with a terrible spell of form now fully behind them. Italy suffered a 0-2 loss to Argentina and held England to a 1-1 draw in two friendlies in March, before going on to beat Saudi Arabia in May. The Azzurri have improved somewhat but still need consistency to be looked on as a world power once again.

Poland are hoping to cause an upset to kick-start their rebuilding process; however, they’ve also had a similar spell of unpredictable form like Italy and an early exit from the World Cup didn’t help, where losses to Senegal and Colombia meant a ticket back home for the players to enjoy an extended summer break. The last meeting between these two sides came back in November 2011 when Italy ran out 2-0 winners. Poland have never won in Ital,y but with most of their squad playing club football there, they will harbour thoughts of an upset.

The betting tip? Italy with a win.

The JustBet Odds on the match are as follows:

Italy to win, $1.75, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $1,750.

Poland to win, $4.90, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $4,900.

Odds of a draw, $3.20, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $3,200.

Odds on the home team (Italy) winning the game 3-0, at full-time, $32.00, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $32,000.

Odds on the away team (Poland) winning the game 1-2 at full time, $10.50, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $10,500

Odds on the game drawing 1-1 at full-time, $5.75, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $5,750.

The second game on Saturday, at 1:45 pm local time, pits together two teams that seem to be heading in different directions. It’s an English team brimming with confidence after their fourth-place finish at the just-concluded World Cup squaring off against a disjointed-looking Spanish team that has seen a host of the old stagers retiring after an uninspiring World Cup.

England had a great World Cup campaign in which the team far exceeded expectations by making it to the semi-finals. The English public were very impressed with the team’s performance and should ensure that Wembley stadium be filled to capacity and buzzing with excitement. Can coach Gareth Southgate build on the success from Russia and guide this young and vibrant English side to new heights? Well, this Nations League clash against the Spaniards serve as the perfect test for them.

Spain, on the other hand, are coming off a disappointing World Cup performance in Russia. Furthermore, they lost their manager who took the Real Madrid job and a number of their golden generation stars retired from the national team. They will now begin a new era under the former Barcelona Manager Luis Enrique. His reign began with controversy as he has not called up Barcelona’s left back Jordi Alba because of a misunderstanding they both had while he was in charge of Barcelona. England have a good head-to-head record against Spain thanks to the period of dominance from 1960 to 1980. They have 13 wins, three draws and lost nine of the last 25 encounters they played. I am expecting an English win as they are highly motivated to shine in front of their home crowd after the summer’s success. So, football fans with 90 thousand fans cheering on the English side with the world now at their feet against a Spanish team rebuilding with a new manager, this will be too much for them to handle. Grab a beer and and enjoy the game with JustBet and win with us.

The betting tip? An England victory.

The JustBet Odds on the match are as follows:

England to win, $2.70, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $2,700.

Spain to win $2.65, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $2,650.

Odds of a draw, $3.05, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $3,050.

Odds on the home team (England) winning the game 3-1 at full-time, $18.00, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $18,000.

Odds on the away team (Spain) winning the game 1-3 at full-time, $23.00, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $23,000.

Odds on the game drawing 2-2 at full-time, $20.00, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $20,000!!!!!

Bets can be placed at any of the over 100 JustBet locations island-wide. Persons can visit JustBetJA.com for verification of odds and a full array of betting options.
