Jamaica in men’s International Kickboxing Champs final
ST JAMES, Jamaica — Jamaica will hope lightning can strike twice in the same place as they go into the men’s team fighting finals against England as slight favourites as the the International Sport Karate and Kickboxing Amateur World Championships comes to a close tomorrow night at the Montego Bay Convention Centre in Rose Hall, St James.
Four years ago Jamaica created history by winning the men’s team event at the ITF World Cup held at the same venue.
Friday night’s session will start at 8:00 pm and will be televised live around the world.
Olympian Kenneth Edwards, Nicholas Dussard, Akino Lindsay, Adrian Moore and Ricardo Stone, will make up Jamaica’s team that will take on England team that are on the whole bigger and taller than the Jamaicans.
