Isaac has dissipated, says Met Office
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Meteorological (Met) Service of Jamaica is reporting that weather system Isaac has dissipated, however its remnants will likely continue to produce gusty winds and occasional heavy rains while moving westward across the central and western Caribbean during the next few days.
In its latest advisory this morning, the Met Service reported that at 4:00 am Isaac’s remnants were located 730 km east southeast of Kingston, Jamaica.
Maximum sustained winds are near 35 km/h with higher gusts.
The Met Service said it will continue to monitor the system.
