Motorcyclist killed in collision on Llandilo main road, Westmoreland
WESTMORELAND, Jamaica — Investigators in Westmoreland are probing the circumstances surrounding a vehicular collision that claimed the life of a man on the Llandilo main road in Savanna-La-Mar, Westmoreland on Friday.
Dead is 59-year-old Joslyn Francis, a vendor of Dalling Street in Sav-La-Mar.
Reports are that about 7:50 pm, Francis was driving a motorcycle along the roadway, which allegedly collided with a pickup truck that was travelling in the opposite direction. He sustained multiple injuries and was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the pickup truck was not seriously injured, the police said.
