Weather forecast: Brace for more rain today
KINGSTON, Jamaica — A trough is expected to remain across Jamaica through to the weekend.
Meanwhile, an area of low pressure is expected to gradually develop south of the island and influence the weather later this week into the weekend, says the Meteorological (Met) Service of Jamaica.
This morning, expect showers across eastern parishes, while it will be partly cloudy elsewhere.
This afternoon, scattered showers and thunderstorms should affect most parishes.
The Met Service further advises that there should be lingering showers mainly across southern parishes tonight.
The maximum temperature expected for Kingston and Montego Bay today is 31 degrees Celsius.
