Sagicor re-energises sales team at ‘winning’ motivational conference
Sagicor Group Jamaica recently hosted its over 500-strong-sales team from its various subsidiaries in a motivational session at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel, dubbed ‘Winning!’ as the group gears up to close out the year with a solid and strong performance.
Leading from the front, president and CEO of the financial conglomerate, Christopher Zacca was in high spirits as he lauded the team members for the great work they have been doing and encouraged them to keep-up their excellent performance.
Speaking to its future, Zacca shared that the group will continue providing clients, both individual and organisations, with easy-to-use, simple and personal financial services via a digitally enabled platform.
With three months left to close out the company’s financial year, the company is poised to meet and, in some cases, exponentially exceed all targets.
“As we race to the finish line for 2018 and get ready for a new journey ahead for 2019, let us remain focused, keeping our eyes on the prize; knowing that we are winners, with one goal, one aim and one vision in mind,” said an enthused Zacca.
Yaneek Page, managing director of Future Services International Limited, delivered a thought-provoking presentation, which left the audience asking: “what is my magic?” The business coach spoke about finding the magic in a sales pitch.
The team was also treated to a refreshing and engaging presentation about the art of selling from veteran insurance advisor Winston Bennett.
Bennett, a stalwart with over 50 years in the business, captivated the audience with his wit and humour, sharing some of his many experiences during his time as an insurance advisor, and reminding the sales team that “It is always about selling”.
Ahead of the launch of his album Hope River, held on Saturday, September 28, international reggae artiste Agent Sasco treated the Sagicor team members to a selection of his hits, while also leaving nuggets of motivation as he spent some time to share some life lessons he learnt along his musical journey.
He spoke to the audience about maximising their full potential and never becoming complacent; always growing and learning and never being afraid to fail.
