The police are reporting that a total of 353 major crimes have been committed against children across Jamaica since the start of 2018.
2. Cocaine found in man’s stomach after visit to medical facility
The police are reporting that a man was arrested and charged on Monday after he turned up at a medical facility in Falmouth, Trelawny where a pound of cocaine was extracted from his stomach in an emergency operation.
3. Lisa Hanna hits out at farm thieves
Member of Parliament for South East St Ann and newly minted treasurer of the People’s National Party (PNP), Lisa Hanna, today took to her Instagram page pleading with farm thieves to think about the livelihoods they are affecting following an attempted theft of a cow at Coultart in the parish this morning.
4. Stop mining in Cockpit Country, community reps urge govt
Residents of the Cockpit Country communities are voicing their objection to continuing bauxite mining and prospecting activities near to the designated Cockpit Country Protected Area (CCPA).
5. Man killed, friend wounded playing dominoes in Westmoreland
A man was shot dead and another left nursing injuries after they were pounced on by armed men while playing dominoes at a shop in Three Miles River district, Westmoreland last night.

The Portmore police are reporting that the body of a man from Old Braeton was found with multiple stab wounds by residents last night.
7. T&T cop on bail for alleged panty theft
A 48-year-old police officer is due to return to court in January next year after he was released on TT$200,000 (US$32,000) bail on a charge of stealing six panties from the US-owned PriceSmart in Chaguanas, south of here.
8. 25-y-o man shot dead in Hanover
A 25-year-old man from Montego Bay in St James was shot dead by unknown assailants on the Tryall Beach in Hanover on Monday, the police have reported.
9. Fog affecting North/South Highway
The police are advising motorists traversing the North-South Highway to do so with extreme caution as some sections are currently covered with fog.
10. India snub nothing to do with decision to quit, says Bravo
