New locations opened for Canada’s Visa Applications Centres
KINGSTON, Jamaica – As of today, November 2, 2018, Canada’s Visa Applications Centres (VAC) have opened new locations in both Kingston and Montego Bay, the High Commission of Canada in Jamaica is reporting.
In Kingston the new VAC is located at 19 Haining Road in New Kingston, while in Montego Bay the VAC is at Whitter Village, Unit CU4, 1091 Morgan Road, Ironshore.
The Government of Canada has contracts with VACs to provide visa application support services and biometrics services to applicants to the Canadian High Commission for visas.
According to the High Commission of Canada, as a popular destination for tourists, business visitors, students, and workers from Jamaica, Canada fields thousands of requests annually related to visas and other travel documentation needs. These services are initially conducted by the VACs.
