UPDATE: 24-y-o Clarendon woman attacked by ex-lover dies
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Clarendon woman who was left nursing severe burns after her jealous ex-lover set her home ablaze in the wee hours of Wednesday morning, killing her 16-year-old brother, has died.
The 24-year-old woman has been identified as Rosalie Campbell. A police source confirmed that she succumbed to her injuries at the May Pen Hospital about 11:00 am this morning.
Her ex-lover, 41-year-old Craig Lawrence who was later found hanging in what police believe was suicide, also inflicted chop wounds on her 53-year-old mother before setting the house on fire in Stewarton, Mocho.

The death of the boy, Leroy Hamilton, has since plunged the Central High School in the parish into mourning.
Residents claimed that Lawrence and Campbell had frequent quarrels.
