Spanish Town cabbie stabbed to death in Kingston
KINGSTON, Jamaica — A taxi operator from Spanish Town, St Catherine was pulled from his vehicle and stabbed to death by unknown assailants along Windsor Avenue, Kingston 6 last night, the police have reported.
He is 34-year-old Wendell Harris of Seaton Boulevard in Sydenham Villa.
Reports from the police’s Corporate Communications Unit are that Harris was allegedly taken from his vehicle about 7:05 pm and chased by several men who used knives to stab him multiple times.
The police were summoned and Harris was found lying motionless in a pool of blood. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
