Jamaica Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (JSPCA) Manager Evelyn Hall has a conversation with Alternative Power Sources (APS) Managing Director Damian Lyn, during his visit to the JSPCA last Friday to check on a 250-litre solar water heater system he donated a few weeks ago.

Lyn made the donation after he took his Catahoula dog, Daisy (shown here), to the JSPCA three months ago for treatment for a stomach virus. When he found out the facility did not have hot water, Lyn, known for his philanthropic gestures, made arrangements for his company to provide the system (seen in the background). In February this year, Lyn donated six LED floodlights to the Laws Street Trade Training Centre in central Kingston, bringing joy to founder and operator Sister Mary Benedict who said the gesture was like Christmas coming just before Easter.
