PHOTOS: Eltham High School student selected as police commissioner for a day

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Many have thought about being prime minister of Jamaica for the day and what they would hope to accomplish, but what about manning the desk of the police commissioner?

Sheldane Mitchell, a 5th form student at Eltham High School in St Catherine, gets to do just that today.

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) divulged that Mitchell, who was selected to act as police commissioner for a day, has met with Commissioner of Police Major General Antony Anderson and other senior police officers.

He will also meet with other youth leaders throughout his one-day tenure.
