Whether we’ve been naughty or nice Santa has seen it fit to reward Kingston with another Starbucks. Located at 51 Knutsford Boulevard (at the corner of Barbados Avenue) the new space opened at 6:30 am on December 20 and by lunchtime, word had spread. Dozens of customers filed into the coffee shop ready to grab sandwiches, sweet treats, their go-to beverages and try some of the company’s signature holiday menu items.

Sorry, folks, the Jamaican market doesn’t have the eggnog latte. However, there are other delicious beverages to choose from. On the seasonal drink menu are: Chestnut Praline Latte, Iced Caramel Brûlée Latte and Dark Cherry Mocha. On the holiday treats menu are the now-famous Cranberry Bliss Bar, Peppermint Brownie Cake Pop, Chocolate Swirl Brioche and Snowman Cookie.

The bright airy space is complete with a community board (feel free to sign your name), cosy nooks and comfortable stools along a wall of windows from which you can people-watch. There are even tables with built-in USB charging ports and outlets, to boot — freelancers and digital nomads, rejoice!

Monday – Thursday 6:30 am – 7:00 pm

Friday – Saturday 6:30 am – 8:00 pm

Sunday 8:00am – 6:00 pm
