Fireworks on The Fairways
The last streaks of shimmering fireworks criss-crossing the hazy night skies signalled the drawing to an end of Frenchmen Climax held New Year’s Day at the Caymanas Fairways. The annual event that attracts patrons ranging in age from 20 to 80 has remained for decades the place to convene come January 1. The camaraderie, the d é cor courtesy of Novelty Party Rentals, the non-stop pour from the fully-stocked premium Select bars, the snaking lines for food, and of course the brilliant turntablists DJ Smoke, DJ Courtney, Coppershot and lone female selector Bad Gyal Marie, plus the thousands in attendance each carefully styled to signal their fabulocracy, ensured the perfect party vibe.
Kudos to the Frenchmen on the staging of a memorable event. We look forward to 2020.
