Another curfew imposed in sections of August Town
ST ANDREW, Jamaica — The police are reporting that a curfew has been imposed in sections of the August Town Police Division.
This is the second time a curfew is being imposed in the area since the start of the year.
The curfew began at 6:00 pm last evening and will remain in effect until 6:00 pm tomorrow. The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:
NORTH: Along an imaginary line approximately 471 metres running parallel to Dallas Road from Berry Road vicinity Sir John Golding Rehabilitation Centre to the deep corner at the hillside;
EAST: Along the hillside approximately 1830 metres from the deep corner to the farm at Marl Road;
SOUTH: Along an imaginary line approximately 424 metres from the farm at Marl Road to the Hope River vicinity Berry Road;
WEST: Along an imaginary line approximately 1870 metres from the Hope River vicinity Berry Road to Sir John Golding Rehabilitation Centre.
During the hours of the curfew, all persons within the boundaries of the curfew are required to remain within their premises unless otherwise authorised in writing by the ground commander.
