Two arrested after cops find firearm in Clarendon
CLARENDON, Jamaica — Two men were yesterday arrested in Clarendon following the seizure of a Luger 9mm pistol fitted with a magazine containing fifteen 9mm cartridges, the police have reported.
According to the constabulary’s Corporate Communications Unit (CCU), the men, whose identities are being withheld, were observed walking along the roadway while the police were conducting a vehicular checkpoint operation.
They were stopped and during a search, one of them was found with the weapon.
