UPDATE: Blockage on Maxfield Avenue cleared
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The debris that was this morning set ablaze and used to block a section of Maxfield Avenue in St Andrew has been removed.
The roadway was blocked as angry residents, for a second day, protested the alleged police killing of 16-year-old Ronaldo Smith.
The boy, who is also known as Raheem, was shot dead yesterday afternoon inside a house on Raphael Street, off Maxfield Avenue.
Police are currently in the area attempting to get the situation under control.
