S Hotel Dazzles on the Hip Strip

Wednesday Social

Leave it to hotelier Christopher Issa to bring an unused property back to life! For years the building at 7 Jimmy Cliff Boulevard lay dormant, until three years ago when Issa decided to give it his signature magical touch. To fully appreciate just how beautiful and well-designed S Hotel is, it has to be experienced. And it was with this in mind that Issa threw open the doors of his gem of a hotel Sunday last and hosted approximately 500 people for a grand opening.

There’s a communal feeling in the hotel’s lobby which feels more like a grand living room. Wednesday Social can already imagine this becoming the epicentre of the property; well, next to the main-level swimming pool, that is. The property gleams from the Hip Strip — the white walls and tropical foliage beckon to guests.

We reckon that Sunday’s huge turnout is an indicator of great things to come. Many guests were impressed with the space and those who spent the night spoke about their “best night’s sleep”. The hotel’s staff is attentive, helpful and keen to ensure that guests have an amazing time. So, whether you wish to spend a few days decompressing, arrange a romantic getaway, host a business lunch or have a place to regularly meet with friends for drinks, S Hotel will welcome you.
