Curfew imposed in sections of Central Village, St Catherine
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — The police have imposed a curfew in sections of Central Village in the St Catherine South Division. The curfew began at 6:00 pm yesterday and will remain in effect until Monday, February 11. The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:
North along an imaginary line from Collins Crescent to Rocklands at the eastern boundary;
East along an imaginary line from Rocklands to the Nelson Mandela Highway in the vicinity of the dirt track;
South along the east bound lane of the Nelson Mandela Highway from the dirt track at the eastern boundary to the Ashtrom Construction Company; and
West along an imaginary line from the Ashtrom Construction Company to Collins Crescent at the northern boundary.
During the hours of the curfew, all persons within the boundaries are required to remain within their premises unless otherwise authorised in writing by the member of the security forces who is in charge of enforcing the curfew.
