12-y-o Akeelah Satchell reported missing

KINGSTON, Jamaica — A High Alert has been activated for 12-year-old Akeelah Satchell, otherwise called ‘Kayla’, of Fenbrook Avenue, Kingston 20 who has been missing since yesterday.

She is of dark complexion, medium build and is about 165 centimetres (5 feet 5 inches) tall.

Reports from the Duhaney Park police are that Akeelah was last seen at home about 7:00 am. She was wearing a multi-coloured blouse, denim skirt and a pair of black-and-white slippers.

Anyone knowing her whereabouts is being asked to contact the Duhaney Park police at (876) 933-4280, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
