Gas prices up $1.46, diesel down $3.00
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline and a decrease in the price of diesel, effective Thursday, March 14, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $128.53 and $131.37 per litre, respectively, up by $1.46 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $131.50 per litre following a decrease of $3.00 while ultra-low sulphur diesel is down by $1.56, and will be sold for $134.70 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene decreased in price by $2.37 and will be sold for $109.67 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $45.01 per litre, down by $01.28 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $51.16 per litre after a decrease of $1.45.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
