St Ann man expels $1m worth of cocaine; faces court today
KINGSTON, Jamaica — A 50-year-old St Ann man is to appear before the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court this morning after he was nabbed with cocaine estimated to value more than $1 million at the Norman Manley International Airport (NMIA) in Kingston on Sunday, March 3.
The accused, Oral Willis, was interviewed during security checks and based on his responses was detained and subsequently taken to a medical facility where he was examined, the police’s Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) reported.
The police said he later expelled 102 homemade capsules containing white substance resembling cocaine. The drug weighed approximately 2.2 pounds.
Willis was subsequently charged with possession of cocaine, dealing in cocaine; and importing cocaine.
