Weekly Round-up: Ban on Boeing 737 MAX… Firearm holder kills 3 robbers… Bolt Mobility launched
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica on Wednesday joined a global ban on the Boeing 737 MAX and 737-9 MAX aircraft models in wake of Sunday’s plane crash in Ethiopia, which killed all 157 people aboard.
On the crime scene, a licensed firearm holder fatally shot three men during an attempted robbery at his home in Portmore, St Catherine on Wednesday night.
In sport, it was revealed on Tuesday that Jamaican track star Usain Bolt is the new spokesperson for Bolt Mobility, a Miami-based start-up that is the creator of a new, environmentally friendly scooter called the Chariot.
