Gas prices down $0.03, diesel down $0.73
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline and a decrease in the price of diesel, effective Thursday, March 21, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $128.50 and $131.34 per litre, respectively, down by $0.03 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $130.77 per litre following a decrease of $0.73 while ultra-low sulphur diesel is down by $0.55, and will be sold for $134.15 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene decreased in price by $0.99 and will be sold for $108.68 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $44.45 per litre, down by $0.56 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $50.42 per litre after a decrease of $0.74.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
