American woman dies in Spanish Town crash
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — The police are reporting that 57-year-old Paulette Baptiste-Diallo, of Legion Street, Brooklyn in United States of America died of injuries she received in a motor vehicle crash along Old Harbour Road, St Catherine on Tuesday.
Baptiste-Diallo worked as a transportation security officer while in the United States.
Reports from the Spanish Town Police are that Baptiste-Diallo was a passenger in Toyota Yaris motor car about 3:00 pm, travelling from Spanish Town when the vehicle collided in the rear of a parked truck.
She was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Investigations into the crash continue, the police said.
